Lessons learned:
Really, really, REALLY make sure everything is in boxes *before* you move (this is an ongoing problem of mine, better this time than in previous moves, but still, it’s not rocket science)
Make sure the heat works in the place you are moving into, especially if the temperature is flirting around 40 degrees
Make sure to have sufficient lighting
Make sure to have someone who can help with your largest piece of furniture (especially if your options for stairs are a spiral staircase or a really steep staircase- this one is yet to come, but we are both nervous about it)
More to come tomorrow, when I have a moment to sit down and think…. I was on the phone with Comcast at 11:30 tonight trying to ascertain why a “welcome to your new comcase account” screen kept popping up (I’ve had Comcast for about 16 months).
